Entering Our Lives
The Internet came in the 1980s, but it wasn't an integral part of our life. It was after 2011 that about ten years ago, various telecom companies came with various internet offers. But the biggest revolution occurred when Jio came up with its mastermind plan of free 4g data for approx. One year after this quake, other telecom companies were obliged to come up with their cost-efficient plan, thereby making a need. We can even say that it has become an addiction to all the internet users; it even includes 2-3-year-olds, Older children, and even old age people.Ethernet
In the 1980s where there was no such involvement of telecom companies, it was a retro era of Ethernet as a family of wired computer networking technologies commonly used in local area networks (LAN), metropolitan area networks (MAN), and wide area networks (WAN). It was commercially introduced in 1980 and first standardized in 1983. It was then the basic source of internet connection within a local area. This used to have a device like a router, which used to be the main source of a data provider connected to others through cables in this entire locality. It seems like a bunch of wire, or we can say snakes are traveling all around the locality. In the 1980s and '90s, the Internet was not so popular. People barely used it. The Internet in this epic was limited to bureaucrats and government officials, and the elite class. The middle-class family barely had access to it. As it was not affordable for everyone, the middle-class people found no interest in the Internet as it was of no use. But keeping in mind the delusion of former prime minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi in the late 90's when the government started using internet portals to communicate with students and the common person. Slowly in this era, email was becoming a source of the official message. Ethernet was costly and required a lot of equipment like wires and plugs. Sometimes, it is difficult to connect one computer to the Ethernet in certain situations, which sometimes becomes a massive problem.Wi-Fi
As we know, needs are the mother of all innovation as human needs are the only factor that leads to the invention of various comfort facilities. One such need, a need to get rid of sophisticated wires and plug, led to the invention of wifi in 1998, which revolutionized the dawn of the internet era. As the wifi steps into the world of the Internet, the meaning of the Internet, which was limited to transmitting through wires, changed into on-air transition through frequency. Wires vanished from home, and the air had become the new wire. Wifi slowly started ruling the Internet. It started being a source of internet connection here; the device to be connected is not limited to wires and jack so you can connect ample amounts of internet receiver through a single wifi connection. People started setting up routers in their homes and many using the 132.168.1.108 to login and use the internet. But as said, the air had become a new wire in wifi, but this on-air wire wifi access is limited to a certain region, same as ethernets. But with the emergence of portable wifi connection, which many telecom providers are providing, has limited this barrier. During the era of Ethernet, the mobile phone was not a trend. People and their habits were limited to telephone calls. Later, when cell phones there was no fragrance of android and phone's accessibility to the Internet slowly; after 2010, the mild fragrance of android mobile phones came into existence. Slowly, they became an undetachable part of our daily life. As with android phones, we can access the Internet and share our internet connectivity through a hotspot. This wifi had become handy. With the emergence of new technology, the old technology somehow tends to get exhausted and extinguish and may never be seen again. This is what had happened with Ethernet.HOW WAS THE ARTICLE?
